Walthers Cornerstone Series®
HO Scale
Grade crossings are some of the most common scenes on layouts, so this tower is ideal for your steam or diesel-era grade crossings. The Gateman's Tower is based on Milwaukee Road steam-era structures that lasted well into the 1970s. These eight-sided towers housed employees who watched for oncoming trains and manually operated pneumatic crossing gates and bells at busy street crossings. Similar towers were used on several other railroads, so it will look at home on any layout.
